The Humane Society of Barron County is a non-profit open door animal shelter serving Barron County. Many changes have occured at the shelter since May 2008, including new management,
new staff, new board members, and beginning in January 2009, a contract with Barron County to assist with the cost of taking care of all the stray animals in Barron County. This contract only represents
a portion of our necessary income and we continue to rely on funds from donations, adoptions, memberships, and fundraisers to keep our doors open for the animals who need us.
Our annual garage sale is fast approaching! It will be held on Friday, June 25th from 8-5 and Saturday June 26th from 8-3 at the Rice Lake Curling Club.
Donations of any and all saleable items are MUCH appreciated and can be dropped off AT the Curling Club on Wednesday and Thursday (the 25th and 26th) from 5-7.
