While we are ALWAYS looking for volunteers to come in and help around the shelter (folding laundry, walking dogs, mowing the lawn, etc) we currently have a lot of additional volunteer opportunities that we are looking to fill!!! The success of our events depend on people like you!</center>

<p><b>August 23rd in Cumberland</b> - Rutebega Fest Parade - people are needed to help walk dogs in the parade. All ages welcome

<center><u><b>Bakers</u></b><Br><br>
Every Thursday, the shelter has a booth at the Country Lane Pantry Farmer's Market. At this table, we sell baked goods and shelter shirts/tanks/hats/etc. We generally sell out of all baked goodies that we bring, so the more we bring, the more money we make for the animals!! Just about anything sells - cookies, bars, breads, cakes, etc. If you have some spare time and could make just ONE batch of goodies, it would be a huge help. The goodies have to get to the shelter by 11 am on Thursday. We do have room to store/freeze goodies that arrive earlier in the week!

<center><u><b>Meet & Greet Tables</u></b><Br><br>

<p><b>July 16th PM -  Rice Lake </b> - Man the HSBC table at the Barron County Fair. Volunteers will be selling shirts, taking donations, and talking to people interested in learning more about the shelter. A basic knowledge of the shelter is needed for this job and can be learned before the event. The evening can be divided into two shifts
<p><b>July 17th, 18th, & 19th - Rice Lake </b> - Man the HSBC table at the Barron County Fair.
